ADULT WINTER SEASON REGISTRATION OPEN

Team registration for the 2023 Indoor Winter Season will be open from Friday, January 6th until Wednesday, January 25th.  To help with planning, please get your registration submitted at your earliest convenience.  Player registration will open on Friday, January 6th as well.  All adult players who have completed registration prior to January 27th will be entered into a draw for one of three chances to win your registration back.  In order to qualify you will need to be registered and payment submitted.  You are still eligible if you select the installment plan and the initial payment is completed. We are gearing up for a February 5th kick off to the season.  All games will take play in the AffinityPlex.  The Winter season will run from February 6th- May 7th. Coed Playoffs will be the weekend of May 5-7th.  Men’s, Women’s, Masters playoffs will run April 24-May 4th.  Please note that playoffs may not fall on regular league days dependent on the number of teams in the division.

 

Minimum Roster for Men’s Intermediate, Men’s Recreation, Men’s Masters, Women’s Intermediate, Women’s Recreation, and all Coed divisions will be 11 players.  Minimum Roster for Men’s Premier, Men’s Semi Competitive, Women’s Premier, and Women’s Semi Competitive, will be 14 players. 

 

 

Previously registration fees were set for Divisions 1-6 for Men’s and Coed, Division 1-3 for Women’s.  Our Adult Liaison Committee has opted to offer Men’s, Women’s and Coed in Premier, Semi Competitive, Intermediate, and Recreation.  This will continue until we reach close to the number of teams we had participate before the pandemic.  There has not been an increase in the cost of registration, however we are now required to apply PST to registrations.

 If you participated in the Fall season, you are eligible to use PROMO CODE: I was registered in this division for FALL SEASON   This is only for the league that you were registered in.  You are not eligible to use this if you were not register in the FALL SEASON.

Men’s Intermediate, Men’s Recreation, Men’s Masters, Women’s Intermediate and Women’s Recreation, and All Coed Divisions will play 6v6 on a quarter field.  Men’s Premier, Men’s Semi Competitive, Women’s Premier and Women’s Semi Competitive will play 9v9 on the half field.  All leagues will play 2 - 25-minute halves with a 3-5 minute half-time.

 

Players who have Club Credits can submit the Club Credit Request Form to adult@fcregina.com.  I can then apply the credit to the remaining registration balance.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. 

 

Significant Changes

  • The Permit Player (guest player) has changed. You can only use permit players to replace a player on your roster plus up to two additional (up to two more than your roster size).  Players who are not attending a game will be crossed off and you will be able to have a player sub in their place (within the eligibility guidelines).  If the player who was crossed off were to come late and a permit player has already played in the game, the registered player cannot play. 
  • We have set it up so that if you choose installment payments it is set up in 4 payments. Initial payment is due at the time you register.  The remaining payments are set up for February, March and March 15th. Installment payments can only be set up for online payments and must be set up at the time of registration.

  • January 27th - Scheduling request deadline
  • January 27th - Any teams that withdraw after 12:00pm will be subject to a $300.00 fine to the team manager.
  • January 27th - Roster Requirement deadline - 7 players
  • January 30th - Adult schedule released.
  • February 5th - Roster requirement deadline - 11/14 players
  • February 6th - Winter season begins.
  • February 15th - Third Installment Payment Due. This option is only available for players who are setting up online payments. This will be taken from the same method of payment that is used for the first installment.
  • March 6th - Prorated Registration begins.
  • March 15th - Third Installment Payment Due. This option is only available for players who are setting up online payments. This will be taken from the same method of payment that is used for the first installment.
  • April 7th by 3:30 p.m. - Last day to register on a team, transfer to a team, request a refund, or request to reschedule a game for the 2023 Winter Season.
  • April 15th -Fourth Installment Payment Due. This option is only available for players who are setting up online payments. This will be taken from the same method of payment that is used for the first installment.
  • April 24th-May 7th--Adult Playoffs

 

With the number of games that we fit in to the league we will have regular league play during all long weekends and holidays. If there is a specific weekend(s) your team needs off, please submit a scheduling request with reasons by noon January 27th in writing to adult@fcregina.com. Not all requests are guaranteed but we will do our very best to accommodate everyone.
